Ignostic? Don’t you mean agnostic?
No, that’s not a typo. It is a real word (see here).
Why do I choose to define myself as such? Because I don’t know everything. Hell, the amount of what I know is barely a single molecule inside the oversized bladder-busting cup of what is known, not even counting what remains unknown. I refer to myself as ignostic because I can’t fathom things that are known. My tiny speck of a brain is barely capable of comprehending the distance I travel in my car on a daily basis; it is incapable of fathoming the size and scope of the universe. Did something create all that? How the fuck should I know? Something capable of creating something I can’t fathom is (wait for it…) unfathomable.
What do I know? The Abrahamic religions are bullshit. We were an accident formed in the incomprehensible expansion and development of the universe. To pretend we were molded out of clay to be the pet project of some omnipotent being who’s only concerned with us on this planet is a selfishly childish fantasy. The sooner everyone accepts that, the faster we can fill the cup of knowledge.
tl;dr?
The concept of a higher power is incomprehensible so shut up about it. :)
